Will I be lost ?

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Nowadays, people’s travel has become more dependent on mobile phone navigation. However, people often ignore the scenery, pedestrians, and exciting stories happening on the journey if they have to spend time looking at their phones to navigate. Navigation flattens the trip, like a route on a map, with only two points and a line.

We design this vehicle to make people enjoy the journey to the landscape and the scenery along the way without looking at their phones. First, users need a smartwatch to determine the starting point and destination. Then, a yellow arrow tied to the user’s ankle will guide the way and point out the correct direction. Users can follow the yellow arrow without looking at their phones. The user does not have to deliberately focus on the arrow, since it will vibrate or prompt voice when the user goes the wrong way. At the same time, when encountering complex road conditions, users can also easily identify the direction in reality.

This design aims at providing accurate and convenient guidance for people to travel. In contemporary times, when science and technology bring convenience to people’s lives, they also domesticate people’s way of life. If we cannot get rid of the dependence on science and technology, what exit can we still find to keep ourselves from getting lost?
