She was born as Emma Louise Hewitt in Australia. She formed a band with brother Anthony called „Missing Hours“ in the 2000s and they released their debut album with the same name in 2008. Shortly thereafter they disbanded. Though Emma had a musical background in rock music she became one of the premiere vocal-talents for Trance songs, working together with DJs like Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, Gareth Emery, Armin van Buuren and many more.

In 2007 she released the debut single with British DJ Chris Lake and scored a #1 in the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Charts where the song spend over 50 weeks on it. In 2009 she released the single „Waiting“ with Dutch DJ/producer Dash Berlin and reached the Belgian Single Charts where it peaked at #25. The song reached #1 at the Global Trance Charts.

In 2012 Emma Hewitt who now lives in the Netherlands released her debut album „Burn The Sky Down“. Here now are my favorite 15 songs of one of the best vocal performers in trance music today.
