* Prayers for Sandy as she recovers from flu and broken wrist.
* Prayers for Donna who was recently hospitalized with pneumonia.
* Prayers for our new summer ministry, „Wednesday Family Fun Night“ for children and youth. The next Fun Night is June 15th.
* Prayers for the community of Durant and the recent accidents, leaving 5 Fire Department members injured with one seriously injured (Matt ) and 1 death from the train accident.
* Prayers for Jeanne, sister-in-law of Bob, who is in intensive care.
* Prayers for Jared. Jared fell and is in the hospital with complications from diabetes.
* Prayers for Kim as her treatment continues.
* Prayers for Connie. She continues to deal with her pancreatitis. Please pray that she can get in to see the gastric specialist at the University of Iowa Hospital.
* Sara has asked for prayers for her father-in-law, Mike, who is undergoing cancer treatments.
* Prayers for Joy uncle, Larry. He has undergone treatments for cancer. Thank you for your prayers.
* Caryl Walton has asked for prayers for her co-worker’s family and son, Lane, who is struggling with mental health issues.
* Connie has asked for prayers for her daughter-in-law father, Dallas, who continues with chemo for his lung cancer and is on constant oxygen.
* Martha has asked for prayers for Ed who continues to get worse with Lewy Body Dementia. Rosemary, Ed’s wife, has heart problems, diabetes, and is a breast cancer survivor.

Prayers for families of the children and teachers killed at the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, as well as for the community. Prayers for the families of those killed at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York. Prayers for the families of those killed in the recent shooting at the Cornerstone Church in Ames.
Prayers for the people of Ukraine, especially for the millions of refugees, as well as those who remain in their country and are in harm’s way.
Prayers continued vaccinations and precautions concerning COVID-19. The number of cases continue to rise in United States. There are now over 1,000,000 people who have died of COVID-19 in our country. We pray for their families.

Please keep these members in your thoughts and prayers.

It’s time for: travel and adventure, picnics, camping trips, witness, and mission!

Through your offerings to missions, the Mission Team is happy
to once again support the work of NOMADS.

Nomads On a Mission Active in Divine Service – NOMADS provide volunteer labor for
United Methodist organizations. NOMADS demonstrate God’s love through our work
and by listening to the people with whom we work.

Again, the Mission Team would like YOU to join them on their one day mission trip to
Bidwell Riverside on June 27. We will be leaving from the church
parking lot about 7am and heading home about 3:30 pm from Des Moines.
