Charlotte church COVID

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Singer Charlotte Church revealed she has been laid low by Covid – and was forced to cancel a festival performance.

The former child star was due to headline Camp Wildfire festival this weekend but had to pull out at last minute.

Posting on Instagram, the mum-of-three said: „We are absolutely gutted that we can’t make Camp Wildfire this year due to Covid.

„We were due to be headlining the closing the party and we were super excited to share all of the joy and fun we could possibly muster and bring it to you.

„But we will no doubt have to just do it next year and make it an even bigger party. I’m sorry, Covid sucks, love you.“

Camp Wildfire said: „Sadly Charlotte Church has been struck by Covid-19, so will be unable to make her show on Sunday.“

„Sending her and her family lots of Camp Wildfire love.“

Charlotte, 35, recently performed for the first time since the start of the pandemic playing her Pop Dungeon show at the Green Man Festival where more than 70 cases of the virus have been potentially linked.

Public Health Wales said: „Analysis of contact tracing data gathered by Test, Trace, Protect has identified 71 Welsh residents with confirmed coronavirus, where Green Man festival was reported as a possible exposure in the seven days before showing symptoms.

„However, it is important to note that these cases are not necessarily attributable to transmission at the festival, as Green Man would have been one of a number of exposures reported by cases prior to onset, including, for example: socialising outside the festival, travel to and from the festival etc.“
