Who owns the park? What Do We Have in Common? on view in Boston Common

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Commissioned by the Friends of the Public Garden and curated by Now + There, „What Do We Have in Common“ by artist Janet Zweig is now on view in Boston Common near the Parkman Bandstand. The installation begins with a wooden cabinet near the Parkman Bandstand. 200 blue, illuminated markers wait within it, each carved with poignant questions such as “Who owns this park?” Over 30 days, bilingual Guides will place these illuminated markers throughout the park and spark thought-provoking conversations and reflections with the public on our shared responsibilities to each other and the public spaces we visit.

Commissioned by the Friends of the Public Garden to honor their 50th Anniversary, and curated by Now + There. Follow the questions as they travel from the cabinet to locations around the Common, and share your thoughts with a Guide and at #InCommonBOS.
