What starts or causes a ‚Shoe Boil‘ on my horse?

If you see this starting on your horse call your Farrier immediately to schedule to change the issue that is causing it-the shoe hitting the elbow of the horse when laying down. Putting on interference boots or ’shoe boil donut‘ is a temporary solution but not a permanent fix. Left untreated this tissue is getting deep trauma and adhesions and can also get deep infections from open or irritated skin in that area. Can do this to help release and break down the shoe boil after you have addressed the CAUSE. imagine having a big heavy sack of fluid on your elbow while trying to work-be ridden-and how uncomfortable that can be to the whole horse’s shoulder movement.
