“What Sort of Insects Do YOU Rejoice In?” was produced at UNC Asheville as part of ST: Stop-Motion Production Fundamentals, taught by animator D. Forest Gamble. Developed as promotional material for „I_Butterfly“, it is intended to raise awareness for monarch butterfly restoration, conservation burial grounds, and bike trails.

More information about „I_Butterfly“:
„I_Butterfly“ is a nationwide festival of self-guided bike tours that will follow the monarch butterfly paths during the summer/fall migration season. Since 2019, the initiative has been working with green burial grounds and conservation cemeteries to reintroduce native milkweed and bolster their native wildflowers. The aim of the project is to promote three environmentally conscious ideas: bicycle travel, monarch butterfly restoration, and green burial / conservation cemeteries. Participants are encouraged to donate their footage, images, recordings, artwork, etc. to a collaborative film project which will be compiled after the tour wraps in October 2022.
