There is a thing that binds us together, that we share no matter how we look at it, what we wish to see or believe. The air we breathe, the sky we look upon, the earth our feet travel over. The same thing holds us all.

We are experiencing our shared Earth, we are considering the ways in which the environment and climate are depicted through art, through time, through the media as well as how our cultural background and understanding informs our opinions about our world.

Does our world have dignity? Do we see our world as a living thing of its own? Are the planets ‘resources’ a fruit to be consumed by us?
