WEAV(3)D & FESCH.TV:

In WEAV(3)D, we created our own analog 3D-Weaving Process. Through the act of braiding natural yarns in a 3D fashion, we can make a vast array of structural pieces using only natural materials.

Instead of interlacing the threads in the conventional planar way (similar to traditional basket weaving) our machine is braiding the yarns into a 3-D mesh. This approach enables us to weave various patters and shape in different dimensions. The structure can be used as a aesthetic and structural material in objects.
