We left NY at 4am for the airport. We love getting into our destination as early as possible when we travel. Newark is our choice of airports in the NY metro area. Jim and Shanon flew in from Seattle so they were an ahead of us.

Our guide and driver Tony was waiting for us in San Diego when we arrived. And south bound we are!

It’s super easy to get into Mexico. You basically slow down like you do for a toll booth and you are in Mexico.

The first city is Tijuana. We actually don’t stop there, but we have heard that there are some great restaurants there.

Our real excitement is because we are going to Punto Nuevo. This ocean front city is known for lobster, lobster and more lobster. Yes, people from all over the world come here to eat lobster. Villa Ortega’s is the place that most people know. But there are other restaurants that serve up plenty of lobster.

After lunch and margaritas we are headed to Tahona Baja for some cocktails. But that is the next video…
