The project is inspired by the idea of being free and by the virtue of freedom
The idea started brewing in my mind when i was writing my Master’s thesis on Peter Lindbergh in Paris but it only took shape when i started taking pictures with that consciously in my mind in Bombay. Wings of Desire and Peter Lindbergh’s Iconic work in Harper’s Bazaar
(BLACK SWAN the film even) is sure a good starting point in terms of inspiration/reference but the idea also is to make the viewer dive deep into this mysterious world of my protagonist who is a BIRD visiting the city from Heaven. An ANGEL almost that is exploring this city of Bombay which is extremely chaotic, full of life, ever-bustling and a „always on the move“ city.
The final look is achieved through a Kodak Film after-effect to the footage.
