Twelve Moons – Part Ten

While many people would call the October full moon either the Harvest or the Hunter Full Moon, I chose the Travel Moon instead. The Farmer’s Almanac indicated this name might have to do with migratory birds but humans travel too.

There’s a personal irony for me in focusing on transit hubs because at various points this year I had plans to be in Hawaii during this full moon, plans that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Afterwards I briefly entertained the idea of being in Alaska for a job also during this full moon. In the end I was still here in Colorado, not traveling, for Full Travel Moon.
I hope you like my first attempts at Hyperlapses (a moving, or „traveling,“ time lapse) toward the end of the video.
