TRAVEL NOTES: ANTARCTICA | Behind the scenes of „sin∞fin“ by VestAndPage (2012)
FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:
This is a private travel log of artist duo VestAndPage (Verena Stenke & Andrea Pagnes). In January and February 2012, they spent six weeks at scientific bases in Antarctica, for the production of their performance-based film „sin∞fin – Performances at the Core of the Looking-Glass“ ().
Their participation was realised as part of the Cultural Program of Argentina’s National Antarctic Direction DNA, curated by Andrea Juan.
„TRAVEL NOTES: ANTARCTIC“A has been originally produced as extra on the limited edition DVD (#100) of the film. It gives an insight into the living and working conditions on the white continent.
Shot at the Argentine Antarctic bases Esperanza, Jubany and Marambio.
