Would you like to introduce yourself and your activity?

I am Philippe Berodias, from the company Bougies et Senteurs. We make scented candles and massage candles. We are located in Grasse. We have about fifteen employees. We have been working with TOURNAIRE since the beginning.

Why are you here?

I came today because I was invited first of all. Secondly, TOURNAIRE is one of the most important companies in the Grasse region. TOURNAIRE participates in the entrepreneurs‘ club. TOURNAIRE is part of Grasse Expertise. TOURNAIRE is one of my suppliers, so there are 1550 reasons to come.

What products do you use TOURNAIRE for?

We use TOURNAIRE for the 125CC or 325CC, which are the canisters that look like they’re made in glass, but of course they are aluminium. We make scented candles on the one hand, and we also transform this product to make massage candles and there we use a spout.

What are the advantages of aluminium packaging?

First of all, these packages do not rust. It’s a product that holds up well, it’s very heat-resistant, and the customers love the way it looks. For us it’s a product that doesn’t rust, as I said, it’s important for us even if we put wax inside. But it does the job perfectly, whether it’s for scented candles or massage candles.

What is the most important thing when choosing packaging?

When we talk about packaging, it is first of all the container. For us, the scented candle always comes in a container. So, for us, it will be either glass, ceramic, or metal. Aluminium therefore meets the travel requirements; the solidity criteria; it doesn’t break; there is a lid, which is important; and it appeals to those who want to travel with their scented candle.
