He was born in London, England. As he grew up he was influenced by UK garage, which played a huge part in his development as a DJ. Joel Corry was featured in the MTV reality tv series ‚Geordie Shore‘ alongside his then girlfriend. In 2015 he released his debut single ‚Back Again‘. In 2019 his single ‚Sorry‘ reached the UK Single Charts after being featured on the reality tv series ‚Love Island‘. It peaked at #6 in the chart. His next single ‚Lonely‘ peaked at #4 and in 2020 his collab with singer ‚MNEK‘ called ‚Head & Heart‘ topped the UK Single Charts, while reaching Top 10 in various countries.

In 2021 his collab with Raye and David Guetta called ‚Bed‘ peaked at #3 in the UK and his next release, a collab with ‚Jax Jones‘ as well as ‚Charli XCX‘ and ‚Saweetie‘ called ‚Out Out‘ became his 5th Top 10 single when it peaked at #6.
