The Traditional and Conteorary Vietnaese Ao Dai – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Happy Day 8!! For our final day of the Cultural Fashion Display we have Lorena, a second year student, modeling a traditional (yellow) and a contemporary (blue) feminine Ao Dai. Historically, the Ao Dai (tunic and skirt) was worn as daily clothes but today, it has been popularized by the fashion industry and can be worn with silk trousers, skirts or jeans. The Ao Dai can be embroidered, beaded or printed material and has slits that extend above the waist and panels that reach below the knee. The feminine Ao Dai can be worn today for special Vietnamese occasions and many women have custom made Ao Dais for their weddings. ✨
