The Mass Cycle – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Hello, my name is Caitlin Paige Walker, I am a student at the University of Brighton. For my practice 10 project, I have been looking into the mass production behind fast fashion brands and how they are slowly changing charity shops. By looking into the inner workings of charity shops, I have explored their pursuit to reuse, recycle and sell clothing most would consider ‚out of style‘, a term created by brands who want you to continuously buy. Charity shops have become a way of sustainably recycling old clothing for the enjoyment of another. Through the use of scanning ‚rag bag‘ clothing; clothing that is considered ’not up to shop standard‘ I am able to portray the concept of mass production…The Mass Cycle.
