The life cycle of a garment is something we as consumers place onto the products we buy. Reflecting on the relationship and what it means in modern day over consumption sparked the creation of this piece. Upon self-reflection I found myself assigning a life to lifeless products, viewing some as dead or unusable. With the rapid rise of fast fashion, this way of thinking has only become increasingly common amongst consumers like myself. The life cycle of a product is only getting shorter, and demands on buyers has only increased.
