In 1950, St. Michael’s was established as the firs mission parish in the Diocese of North Carolina in 75 years. Since that time, we’ve grown into a thriving parish in the center of Raleigh. Travel with us as we explore our parish’s unique history with founding member Smedes York — former mayor of Raleigh — and many others, as we share God’s mission in the world.
