The Global Landscape for Translation Rights

On 30 September 2021 – International Translation Day – IPA brought together an exciting group of speakers to look at the global landscape for translation rights through the perspectives of authors, publishers and translation funds from Italy, Brazil, Georgia and the USA.

Moderated by Publishing Perspectives editor Porter Anderson, the session looked at how grants/schemes can help promote translation, the benefits of helping publishers’ books travel abroad, and the best practice for securing rights sales for translation.
