Refugees continue to travel across the Ukraine border into Romania. Once over the border our partners welcome them with a hot drink, food, & warm shelter inside their tent. Many waited hours, some days, to cross the border, others travelled long distances with small children.

Inside the Freedom Tent a triage team organizes transport for the incoming refugees to one of Fight for Freedom’s local shelters. Once at the shelters each refugee is given additional help to reach their destination – often it’s travel expenses/logistics to reach their family in other parts of Europe.
