The Chinese Hanfu yi – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

We’re halfway through our Cultural Fashion Display music videos! Continuing the momentum we have Taylor Renick, a fourth year CMU student modeling a traditional Hanfu yi (top) and hair accessories. Hanfu directly translates to the clothing of the Han people and dates back to the Shang dynasty from 1600-1800 BC. Today, the Hanfu feminine outfit consists of a yi, an open cross-collar garment and ankle-length skirt, called chang, worn with a bixi, a length of fabric that reaches the knees. Taylor accessories the yi with a shubi (hair comb), chai (long hair pins) and earrings. ✨
