Samut Sakhon is a small province located in the central part of Thailand. Adjacent to the Gulf of Thailand, it is known for its seafood. Most locals do fishing. We can buy fresh seafood at Mahachai market.Transportation here is interesting that people still use ferry to cross the river. The well-known route is ferry between Tha Chalom pier to Mahachai pier which is the inspiration of an old Thai love song „Tha Chalom“. There is also another place that we recommend is the Krok Krak Temple.There is the Buddha image wearing sunglasses. Since it is the belief of the people in the days before to bring sunglasses to put on the Buddha image for healing the eye disease.
