TGB S2E8 BlackComb Barber & Shave Parlour – Intro

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Cedric visits St Thomas, Ontario to work with Master Barber Greg Dennis and his team, at the oldest operating barbershop in Canada, Black Comb Barber & Shave Parlour. Built in 1913, Greg opened the fifth barbershop, to operate in this location since.

St. Thomas earned its title for being known as “The Railway Capital of Canada,” due to all the railways that have passed through the city, since the end of the 19th Century. Because of its location, St. Thomas has served as a major railway hub, being a popular short cut through Canada, from Detroit to Buffalo. Cedric takes a tour of the Elgin County Railway Museum to get a look at the common way of transport and travel, at the turn of the 19th Century.

When the cutting’s done, the guys head to Caps-Off Brewing Company, to find out which beers will pair best with dinner, provided by Plaza Sushi.
Promotional consideration provided by The St. Thomas Economic Development Corporation and Railway Tourism.

Accommodations provided by Inn on The Harbour , in Port Stanley.

Special Thanks to Caps Off Brewing, Plaza Sushi and The St. Thomas EDC.
