Textile Perforance 2021 KASANE Making Video – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

40周年を迎える多摩美術大学テキスタイルパフォーマンスのメイキング映像です。
テキスタイルパフォーマンスとは、多摩美術大学テキスタイル専攻 3 年生が中心となり、舞台、衣装、演出すべてを創り上げ、人とテキスタイルの魅力を伝える、ファッションショーでも演劇でもない新たなテキスタイルの可能性に挑戦するパフォーマンスです。

毎年11月に行われる芸術祭にて舞台公演を行ってきましたが、今年度は例年の舞台公演はせず、2022年3月20日の動画配信にて公開です。400円の本編映像と無料のメイキング映像の2本の公開です。本編映像(有料）はチケットを買った人のみが視聴できるVimeo配信プラットフォームでの限定配信です。

映像解説のパンフレットはBASEで販売しています。パンフレットを見ながら映像を見ると、二度楽しめます。他にも映像の内容に関連したグッズも販売中です。

今年のテキスタイルパフォーマンスは環境問題に目を向けました。世の中で起きている大量生産・消費は、人の手から離れた場所で布が作られる様になった為に、その布への思い入れや慈しみの心、自然への敬意が直接感じられなくなった為に起きた事だと考えました。” 布を作る行為 = 密接な自然との対話 ” とし、そのプロセスにフォーカスした映像作品を作りました。見た人が布に対して愛おしいと思ったり、自らも自然のサイクルの一部であると感じ、結果的に環境へのポジティブな意識変化が生まれることを願っています。

This is the 40th anniversary of Tama Art University Textile Performance. Textile Performance is a show in which third-year students of department of Textiles have take the lead in creating the stage, costumes, and direction to convey the appeal of people and fabric. This conveys the challenging new possibilities of textiles that are neither a fashion show nor a play.

Two videos will be available: a full-length video for 400 yen and a free making-of video.
The full-length film (paid for) is only available to those who have bought a ticket.

This year’s textile performance focused on environmental issues. We believe that the mass production and consumption that is occurring in the world is caused by modern fabrics being made in places far away from human hands. The feelings of care and compassion surrounding the fabrics and respect for nature are no longer directly felt.“ The act of making cloth is a close dialogue with nature. We hope that viewers will feel affection for the craft and feel that they are part of natures cycle. We hope that this will result in a positive change for environmental awareness.
