Giving the Certosa Initiative an edge over Milan Design Week’s usual suspects, the initiative played host to a wide range of design-adjacent events, like a dance performance by SvartbySvart’s Marko, who connected to the state of – and threat to! – our oceans in modern dance while wearing his designs made from reclaimed fishing equipment. The visitor could also at any time be surprised by a fashion show moving through the space, or stumble upon art installations and immersive audiovisual experiences.
