Sophia Agranovich performs “Die Forelle” (“The Trout”) by Franz Schubert arranged by Franz Liszt. Excerpt from her solo recital at Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna on June 24, 2023.

It is the second of Liszt’s two versions. Music flows in a dance-like charming fashion with zest and gaiety, imitating shimmering of the water in capricious virtuosic outbursts.
