A/W 2018 Shenzhen Fashion Week – SMOKY TIME

With the theme of „Zero Distance between Art and Fashion“, A/W Shenzhen Fashion Week 2018 is creating a cross-border interconnection platform of fashion, art and design, allowing the public to face the connection between fashion, art and life.

We specially invite light graffiti artists and independent musicians to create together, with „smoke“ as the main element, through its surging state, to express the flow and development of fashion, art and life. At the same time, through the spread and expansion of smoke, it interprets the interconnection and penetration between the three fields. With dynamic presentation and the creation of musical atmosphere, it brings a comprehensive sensory experience to the audience.

Green: LOST·Lost

Green represents the unique spirituality of nature, and nature contains the highest wisdom and deepest secrets. The green smoke reminds people of a „psychedelic forest“. The rhythm, melody and chord elements of the music are removed from the soundtrack, and three rhythms are used to symbolize three tenses and three spaces. The rhythms intertwine and shape each other, exuding a sense of mystery. Fashion is confusing, and life is an illusion. Losing is an unavoidable situation in the process of seeking answers.

Blue: Awaken · Awakening Moment

We borrow the literary image of „blue“ to express the state of things in the hazy, and things gradually reveal their essence. With the calmness of blue, it expresses the return of reason and courage after being lost. The soundtrack features Air Pad and Breakbit rhythms, complemented by deconstructed chorus vocals. With the minimum chord attributes, it creates an aesthetic atmosphere, showing the interweaving of rationality and sensibility, the competition between the inner self and the outer world, and the pursuit of freedom and infinity.

Red: Burst Extreme Release

We use red smoke to represent the burst of individuality and self-power, which brings a sense of visual proximity and expansion. Sparks, like constant flashes of inspiration and wisdom, increase the brightness of the overall vision. Shuffle grooves composed of noisy material are repeated on the soundtrack, imparting subtle changes in constant loops. At the same time, an ultra-high frequency sound is added in the middle part, with a strong post-industrial auditory experience, to express the ultimate self-release after being lost and awakened.
