I sometimes work and travel with Quixote’s Cove, at times I feel like why working with them is only limited to ’sometimes‘. I’ve had the opportunity to bump and work with some of the finest souls because of them.
This video is for the students I worked with back in December 2018 of Tsoknyi Gechak Nunnery, Chobhar. It was one of my first in-valley trips with the book bus as an language and arts instructor. Getting straight to the part where my existence somehow has an affect on the kids that I shared my time with while being at the Nunnery is something I am always treasuring. Even more so, whenever there’s an occasion of New years‘ or Dashain, they always ring me to exchange the wishes. The end note while I converse with them on the phone is always left on, „When are you going to visit us again?“
And whenever they ask me this question I’m always reminded of the lines from the book LepetitPrince, how, as we grow up we always get tangled with the matter of consequences.
But, despite all of that, maybe sooner I’ll come and pay a visit again.
