‚Shake that ass (for me)‘ quotes Eminem’s 2005 hit of the same name and focuses on the female buttock – but not just only one – a multitude of millisecond-long sequences of the butt can be seen. This found footage was taken from around 300 music videos from the top 100 charts of the last few decades.
Accentuated through the sound created by Smittness () the moving and deforming buttocks seem to become one fluid mass.
The video leaves one with questions: How does the explicit, hypersexualized depiction of the woman and her body affect us? Why is it always the same looking butts? What discriminatory and racist story is behind this facade of fun, sexual availability and lust?

It is recommended to listen to the video with headphones.
