Seattle Welcomes the Year 2022

Wishing all of you a very happy new year, filled with good health, prosperity, serenity and, yes, sanity too.

This will be the first time that Seattle will have live fireworks (from the Space Needle) for New Year’s since 2019. Extremely windy weather canceled them in 2020 and the Covid pandemic canceled them in 2021.

As I have not been able to engage in any significant travel since 2019, my hope is to be able to visit, explore, and photograph Dubai and Lisbon this year. We’ll see if this will be possible to achieve in 2022.
