As three young sisters with heavy plaits on back we had a newfound freedom in the company of each other. We lift one when the other totters down. The elder one stands on the pedestal as a bride eyeing every detail matching her protective persona, the middle one gazing the two trying to imbibe the responsiveness of the elder and the exuberance of the younger. The younger me, lost in my utopian world, etch our moments on the canvas of life. Weaving our tales in threads of silver and turquoise, I capture these moments in the frame to cherish for years and years to come.
