South Cricket Mountain – Delta Utah OHV Ride:

This week Chad and Ria are taking out the Steadman’s Yamaha Wolverine to cover the path less traveled as they join the folks from Delta City for a great ride on the South side of the Cricket Mountain Range. As you’ll quickly discover when riding on the trails outside of Delta, there is just as much history to be discovered as there are beautiful sites and scenery. This OHV ride also features a wide variety of terrain as you’ll start off in the low desert and venture through the hills and valleys of the mountains. Where To: Broad Canyon & Black Rock – Eureka Utah OHV:

Eureka Utah has some of the most magnificent trail riding opportunities in the state of Utah and some of their best trails explore a wide variety of terrain with everything from low deserts, high mountains and even some great rock crawling but one of the Eureka trails best features is without a doubt the history. This area has a one of a kind mining museum that lets visitors step back in time as they get to experience the mining culture of the old west. Be sure to respect the area and the town when visiting though or you might just end up in the local lock up as the museum also features an original jail. This is one historical ride that you’ll have to see to believe.

Along The Way: Protect Our Lakes at Jordanelle Reservoir:

In this week’s Along The Way Reece and Marianne Stein are joining the Protect Our Lakes non-profit organization that has one simple goal in mind and that is to protect the bodies of water that we use everyday. On this particular mission the Protect Our Lakes organization is gathering at the Jordanelle Reservoir as their volunteers are putting their efforts together to clean up the lake before peak season hits. As you enjoy the water recreation areas this summer, be sure to treat the land with respect and to consider what you can do to help organizations like Protect Our Lakes ensure that these areas will be around and available for years to come.
