Rippling Shade 2023 & FESCH.TV:

Wenxin Tian is a fashion desigen background mobile sculpture designer. The work is intended to create an experiential environment. The transformation of the mechanical trajectory is done by means of a motor. The drawing of circles and the use of light and shadow simulate the sensation of the wind blowing through the branches and the sunlight passing through the leaves. The industrial materials and design of the upper mechanical structure contrast with the natural banana tree fibres and recycled branches used in the lower part of the work. The contrast between the industrialised materials and design of the upper mechanical structure and the natural banana tree fibres and recycled branches used in the lower part of the work is a reflection of the growing yearning for nature in the face of the constant operation of modern society.
