Pyzel Mini Ghost Surfboard Review

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Ian Reviews the Pyzel Mini Ghost:

One of the most hyped release’s from the Pyzel stable of boards, the all new Mini Ghost is already making waves around the world!

The Mini Ghost from Pyzel Surfboard’s is the result of a mind mash from Koa Smith and Jon Pyzel. Koa has made everyone well aware his favourite board ever has been the Pyzel Ghost, but he wanted a board that would feel better in the smaller weaker waves as well as when tis pumping so they built a squashed down, flatter, wider, and extremely fun new board, which is the Mini Ghost. In effect this has been designed to be your daily driver, to pair in a quiver with the Ghost. You will want to take the Mini Ghost out in any wave from 2ft to 7ft or so, it can handle everything that is thrown at it!

Pyzel’s Mini Ghost is the perfect travel board for trips all over the world, if you are hitting up the reefs in Bali, points in Morocco or taking on Europe’s beach breaks, this board will be your trusted stead! The outline and rocker on the board promote paddle speed and wave entry, but being paired with a pulled in nose and a squash tail, you have every box ticked. You get performance and release from the squash tail, the rail and profile allow you to have great hold even when the waves are big and punchy and the slightly flatter rocker lets you get into waves easily so you do not have to take off under the lip every time.

In general, the best way to wrap this board up would be somewhat of a throw back to an 80’s hybrid board with the added modern twist and performance elements in the design. Its made for surfers who want a board they can rip on and push as hard as possible but can also be a great option for a surfer working his way into the high performance world as the distribution of the foam and the volume gives you a more forgiving ride. This is the new go to surfboard that should be in every quiver.

Designed to be size a touch shorter than you would ride your standard shortboard, the Pyzel Mini Ghost will freshen up your quiver and give you the stoke to tackle any way you have on offer.
