PUCK – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

” And those things do best please me
That befall prepost’rously”. (III.ii.)
– A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I was inspired by a creature that exists in European folklore, under different identities.
Sometimes he is know as a ‘kobold’ in Germany, a ‘brownie’ in Scotland
and a ‘hobgoblin’ in England.
However the most famous of them all was also the inspiration of Shakespeare’s PUCK,
a representation of the trickster figure, one of the most beloved characters in his universe.
He is a mischievous fairy who inhabits the forest, who delights in playing pranks on mortals.
PUCK is created in my signature style of combining art and fashion in a contemporary way.
The vision for the the mask is my modern take on horns and tree branches with a nod to whimsy.
