PLOOM – ICE JOURNEY

Buzz Brothers reached out to us for the direction of a new ad for the Japanese brand of smoking devices, Ploom.
In this video, we travel through icy environments representing the menthol tobacco stick that surrounds the device. As the camera moves, we discover the Flavor Spheres floating in perfect sync through the ice until the option is activated and they explode together with the ice, as a metaphor for the release of the flavors inside the stick.
The ice procedural growing and the lighting and reflection were quite challenging parts of the project which was delivered in record time.
