In this video, I demonstrate how I want you to create your Video Assignment #3.

This assignment places emphasis combining footwork with your blocks and strikes. This assignment contains some elements that are very specific and some very open to creativity.

Please demonstrate your fighting stance the way I do in the video: Stationary, stepping forward, backward, to the side, switch your stance, repeat.

For your BLOCKS and each of your STRIKES: You will perform 3 moving forward, then 3 moving backward, switch stance & repeat (3 forward, 3 backward). Aside from doing the prescribed technique and the required forward/backward movement, you may mix and match the specific steps and which hand you are using for each repetition, as I do in the video.

For your STOMP KICK: This one is to be done in a more uniform fashion. Right foot forward: Step up stomp with front leg x 3, Step back+stomp kick front leg x 3, switch to left foot forward, repeat.

Abdominal breathing: 5 breaths.
Vocalizations: „Leave me alone!“ 5 times (from stern voice to maximum volume).
Fighting stance.
Blocking.
Nukite (fingertip strike) to eyes.
Palm strike to nose.
Y-hand to throat.
Groin grab.
Stomp kick.
Affirmation: „I am enough. I am lovable. I am capable. I love myself.“ Repeat 3 times.

* Try your best to position yourself and the camera so that your entire body is visible (try to do a better job with this than I did).
