Pathways: Isabel Hu, C’23 – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Isabel Hu, C’23, is a firm believer in following one’s passion. After deciding that a career in medicine was not for her, she leaned into her love for art and became a design major. Outside of fashion and tattooing, Isabel participates in the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club as a graphic designer and the Penn Rugby team.

„I came here for Visual Studies. It was a good compromise between my parents and I. They wanted me to go into the medical field and I love art so much — it’s such a huge passion of mine. Visual Studies combines biology, neurology, art history, everything, and I was so psyched for that. But after taking my first Bio 100 or 101 course and also Math 104, I was like, “Maybe I should switch from STEM and go into the Humanities.”

Pathways is a student series from Penn Arts & Sciences that highlights the academic journeys of students in the College of Arts & Sciences and the transformational moments that have shaped their intellectual experiences.
