OPIE ‚Teaser‘ & FESCH.TV:

It’s Halloween, so here’s a sequence of fragments from my on-going DIY psych-hike horror film, set to a score I’ve been creating using Celtic melodies my mother sporadically sends me.

Origin: I had a short personal story I wanted to tell, it felt too raw and off kilter to even attempt to mutate into a palatable / commercially viable film product… so I wrote the film to be as self contained / technically achievable with the tools I had to hand. I’m working from the boards I drew, shooting the scenes in a paint by numbers sorta fashion entirely on my lonesome between my home and the neighbouring mountains. The film in its current state is rough and fragmented but it’s growing frame by frame. It’s messy, I’m enjoying the mess… more soon.
