one year hoe – FESCH.TV

30 September 2021- One year ago today, I quietly moved home from NYC. I was kind of secretive about it at first – didn’t post about it until Christmastime. It’s not that I was embarrassed per-say, but it did feel like a big step backwards. So, for a while there, I didn’t really let anyone know.

But, as I’ve spent this year sleeping in my childhood bed down the hall from my parents, I’ve grown so content with where I am in life. Don’t get me wrong – I can’t wait to be back in the US with Max, Meg and my friends; I can’t wait to continue my career, but it has been so special to spend this year here.

So- here is a little video, complete with a cheesy rhyming scheme and all. In typical Rebekah fashion, I have romanticized the heck out of this year (like I do with every change in my life) – and for that I am so glad. I will look back on this year not as the year when my life was put on hold, but as the year I got to truly live in the moment. My family, this country, and my friends here will always mean the world to me, no matter where in the world I am.

Life is never what you expect is to be, but it is good all the same. ✨��
