No matter how long or fast you shake a snow globe, the glitter will settle in about 20 seconds, prompting you to shake it again. In this work, a souvenir snow globe with a miniaturized scene of Niagara Falls will glisten continuously throughout the duration of the video, as though there is a mesmerizing current in the water.

In a similar fashion as controlling the flow of Niagara Falls for hydro-power generation through human intervention, I’ve manipulated the footage through post-production.
