Neon Episode represents a fresh and modern take on Abstract Expressionism, evolving a historic genre and verging into a contemporary realm of abstract Pop.

In her signature impromptu and non-strategized fashion, Lobert expresses a sudden enigmatic love affair with neon hues. A departure from her traditionally used colors, this quick tryst resulted in paintings peppered with pinks, limes, acid oranges, and violets, amongst other ebullient shades bending toward the sunny and sprightly-tinged feelings of happiness, joy, and the ambiance of eternal springtime. A departure from darkness toward light emerges true to form. Each piece can be viewed in its original state, or, transformed into an electrically thrilling work when seen beneath a UV light.
