MTE Milling Machines: FBF-M series

As the name suggests, the FBF-M is one size larger than our FBF-S. More precisely, it can machine workpieces up to 3,000 mm high in the vertical travel. It shows its strength among our customers primarily in mechanical engineering. This is certainly due to its very high flexibility.

The fully automatic milling head exchange system is extremely practical. Overall, you can equip the FBF-M with up to 4 different (exchangeable) milling heads. Pendular machining is also possible as an option. This provides a maximum flexibility. By using turntables, with or without an additional sliding axis, particularly large and heavy workpieces can be machined on up to 5 sides.

For all these reasons, the FBF-M is also often used for the machining of complex large tool shapes made of high-strength materials.
