During the lockdown, Miami was one of the few places in the US that remained mostly wide open. New Miami resident Naren Young has taken the reins of the award winning bar Sweet Liberty as their creative director. During this seminar, he’ll discuss some of the ways that this bar and others in the city had to adapt in their own ways to a constantly changing landscape. What Miami also saw was a huge influx of talented and experienced bartenders and restaurateurs from around the world, such as Young, setting up shop down there, planting their flag and ushering in a new age of quality drinking and dining to what is already a major international travel hub. The future for the Miami bar scene now looks brighter than ever, especially as more people such as Young and his ilk look to open several of their own concepts in the Sunshine State!
