Hello everyone! My name is Maria Gallo and I am the owner of the local fabric boutique that specializes in designer dead-stock fabric. I am a SCAD fashion alum and know what you are going through. We are an online-only fabric shop here in Savannah. We offer free local delivery to Eckburg Hall twice a week. Our fabric comes from designer showrooms so its one of kind special pieces; once they are gone they are gone forever. 

We aren’t your typical fabric store, and we don’t want to be! Measure is a boutique style fabric shop. Our brand has been developed as an answer to the sterile and unoriginal products and environments offered by typical fabric stores. We want our customers to feel comfortable and at home when they buy from us; we promise our products and website will inspire and mesmerize you.  It’s a joy for us to work here and we hope it will be a joy for you to shop with us.

Focusing our efforts on stocking designer deadstock fabrics for the quality, exclusiveness, and variety. They are harder to find, but well worth it. Deadstock fabric refers to the fabric from the designer’s sample rooms that were not used in production. We at Measure focus on designer as this fabric usually ends up in the trash and we just can’t bear to see that! It’s just one of the many ways we focus on reduce, reuse, recycle. 

Most of Measure’s stock comes from Italy, other European countries, India, and a few from China. Maria handpicks each quarter in every collection that is sold at the shop, with love and care. 

We are constantly looking for new and original products and our buying strategy allows us to bring in a variety of new inventory every 3-4 months. Because we offer our customers a one-of-a-kind selection the products aren’t available in large quantities, this means the products move off the shelf quickly. Thankfully this makes more room for new fresh inventory; while keeping our items limited editions. 

Our website has a chat button, local delivery and specialized collections to fit your courses needs. All our SCAD collections will clearly be stated. 
We are not just fabric…we also carry Muslin, textile baggies, hardware for accessories and trimmings to add that extra touch.
