Mary Lou Vancleve Memorial Video

Mary Lou (Terrill) Vancleve passed away with her family by her side on June 24th, 2021 in Grayling, Michigan at the age of 89.

Mary Lou is survived by her brother-in-law Fred Earhart of ShelbyTwp., Michigan, Niece Rhonda Wharfield of Macomb, Michigan, her great-nieces Denise Bickley of Kalkaska, Michigan, and Jennifer Contreras of Long Beach, California, and seven great-great nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Earhart, and her husband A.R. Vancleve Jr.

Mary Lou was born on February 5th, 1932 in Vortex, Kentucky to Roger and Betty Terrill. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1950. She then went on to become a successful business owner. Known as “Aunt Toto” to her many nieces & nephews, they remember her as a kind, loving, and generous aunt who was always ready with a compliment and a hug. It was not unusual to find Mary Lou dancing in the living room, or spontaneously taking one of her nephew’s hands and dancing with them. She loved clogging, country music, and her cherry turnovers! Mary Lou knew no stranger and was known for her warm personality. She loved to travel and spent her winters in Ft. Myers, FL.

A private graveside service is scheduled for June 12th in Rochester, Michigan where she will be laid to rest next to her mother, father, and sister. In lieu of flowers, please send your heartfelt expressions, memories, stories, and/or photos to:
