[TRANSCRIPT]: – So atrial fibrillation is an arrhythmia that comes from the upper chambers of the heart. Usually, the upper and lower chambers of the heart should communicate in what we call a one-to-one fashion, meaning every time the upper chamber beats, the lower chamber should follow. In atrial fibrillation, you have fibrillation of the upper chamber where you have a fibrillating atrium and that’s where the term atrial fibrillation comes from.
