In the year 2042, technology has advanced at such a rate that interstellar travel becomes reality. The dawn of a new human civilisation is born in the inner reaches of Alpha Centauri C, better known as Proxima Centauri. Worlds previously unseen to us due to our primordial lens are now able to be seen. We call these worlds the Madlands, visually transformed through optical implants that allow us the ability to visualise thousands of strongly interacting composite quark particles moving and interacting with each other.
