Life Changing, Aazing, Glorifying God Testionies – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

How large is your faith? The larger the faith, the greater the testimony. This week we will focus on „Life Changing, Amazing, Glorifying God Testimonies,“ where we find four men who desire healing for their friend who was paralyzed. They took such great lengths to get to Jesus that they lowered the man through the roof where Jesus was teaching. Because of their faith, Jesus not only healed the man, but forgave Him of His sins.

NOTES:

And again He entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that He was in the house.
Mark 2:1 KJV

Who was in the house?
(Jesus)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 KJV

And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and He preached the word unto them.
Mark 2:2 KJV

What happened when they heard that Jesus was in the house?
(They gathered)

When they gathered, what did Jesus do?
(Preached the Word)

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 KJV

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

And they come unto Him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
Mark 2:3-4 KJV

How do these men share their faith?
(Bringing others to Jesus)

How can we effectively bring others to Jesus?
(By working together)

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:1-4 KJV

When Jesus saw their faith, He said unto the sick of the palsy, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”
Mark 2:5 KJV

What does Jesus see that He acts on?
(Faith)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only?”
Mark 2:6-7 KJV

In this packed-house crowd, what do we see?
(Naysayers)

“I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Isaiah 43:25 KJV

And immediately when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, He said unto them, “Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, ‘Thy sins be forgiven thee;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?’”
Mark 2:8-9 KJV

Even in this crowded house, why did their reasoning not go unnoticed?
(Jesus is all-knowing)

…and needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man.
John 2:25 KJV

“But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, ‘Arise, and take up thy bed,
and go thy way into thine house.’”
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw it on this fashion.”
Mark 2:10-12 KJV

This man does what when Jesus forgives and changes him?
(Obeys)
